A Year of Fast and Easy Change

Happy New Year!!

Let me say it again!  Happy New Year!

That feels good, one more time!  Happy New Year!

I cannot help myself; I just want to say it over and over again. I guess I am excited. I am excited because I know people at this time are thinking about what they want to create in their lives in the New Year. As a self-development enthusiast, Life Coach and person who is all about helping people improve their lives; I know I have a window of opportunity here to get you on the right track.

Year after year, people attempt to start the year differently, and then they lose their steam. Thus the old saying, “If you do what you have always done you get what you have always gotten.” That’s why I have to grab you. You want change and right now you are thinking about change, but what are you going to do? You are going to do what you know. What you know is what you have always done. What you have always done has given you the same results, or should I say the same non-results, year after year.

I have to get you to be willing to do something different. After all, if you want something different, you have to do something different. So do you want different? Do you really want to create positive change in your life? Then make a commitment to real change. That is all I need from you, a real commitment. If you make the commitment then I can provide the roadmap to the changes you want.  Here is the deal though, the road is not always easy and it is not always fast.  Yet here’s an irony: the road is easy and it is fast.

That might not sound like it makes sense:  it is not and it is easy, and it is not and it is fast? How is that possible? In order to create change that means you have to get out of your comfort zone, face truths about yourself, and push yourself--which is not always easy. However, I feel that living with the same results you have now in your life is far more disappointing and harder. So, even though change is not easy, I feel it is easier than the dissatisfaction of no change.  It is not easy, as I said. But it IS easy, because the choice of change and growth is easier to live with.

When it comes to fast, many feel that if something takes months, or even a year, that is too slow. After all, we want change in days or weeks at the most. We get frustrated when we do not get what we want when we want it, meaning get it NOW! So, when I say that change is not fast that is true. It can take months or years to achieve the results you want. However, change is actually really fast. It is fast because in dedicating time and effort to the results you want, you will get them, whereas what we tend to do is dedicate short periods of time here and there and not follow through, which turns into a lifetime of effort. You can chase the body you want your whole life, or you can spend the right time and get there! That is not fast, but it is much faster than what you are doing. You can chase getting rich overnight your whole life. Or, you can get the education, work towards your financial goals, and achieve them over time; which is much faster.

The same is true with all your goals:  whatever time it takes to achieve them, that time put in is much faster than all the starts and stops you have attempted and all the short cuts you have tried. I want to make this year a year of real change for you. Once again, all you have to do is make the commitment. If you make the commitment, we will provide the roadmap. It will be the fastest and easiest path to the life you want.

So Cheers! Cheers to a year of real change, fast and easy.

Love you program and went through it last year when I was in Iraq. Need to go through it again but it definitely inspired and motivated me. My problem is keeping that motivation. I'm very good at these big surges of effort in the beginning but not very good at enduring. I guess I just want all my problems to be fixed from a lot of work in the beginning and then ride that wave for the rest of my life. Any suggestions on keeping the motivation it takes to change and not changing my mind and going back to my old life a week or two from now?
