It Is a New Year
The year just started. It really did just start. You really can make the changes you want this year. You really can! You really can get in shape and lose that weight. You really can quit smoking. You really can get organized, get more education, volunteer, improve your career, spend more time with your family and all those other things you thought of. But you can’t do that if you already forgot it is the New Year.
Are you already back into your normal routine? We might as well never change the date of the year and just add more months on to the same year, because we are living like nothing ever changes year after year. I should say we never change. We keep living in the same pattern day after day, year after year. Most of us are not thinking about it being a New Year anymore. We are doing the same thing we were doing a month ago. We get up at the same time, eat the same way, exercise or not the same, work, family, friends; all in the same routine.
No, No, No!!!
It Is A New Year.
It is time to create real changes in your life. This year I am on a mission. I am on a mission to get more people than ever to follow through. I think I might only write about it being a New Year all year long. I will write about it and write about it, and push you and push you, until you are committed to the changes you want.
Now that is an important phrase, “The changes you want.” I am not here to tell you what changes you should make in your life. It is your life. But you know and I know you want changes. With that in mind, my pushes are about you. It is about you following through. It is about you being committed to ____?
“Change?”
Wrong answer, try again.
“Goals?”
Wrong again, got any more?
“My resolutions?”
Nope and we could go all day at this so let me help you out, because it is why you have not achieved the changes you want. There I said it again, the changes you want.
What is that, you think you have the answer now? Okay let me hear it:
“I need to be committed to the changes I want!”
Close, but sorry that was not it, either.
What you need to be committed to is… “Yourself!” Be committed to you, to the life you want. To living the best life you can, and do not settle for less for yourself.
It Is A New Year.
A year of commitment, committing to myself and living the life I want.
Get Committed Today!

Hi Devlyn,
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful program you and your team have put together.
I think I am starting to see some changes but I am resolved to continue with this program to completion and to be more active in our community.
Now I wanted to pass along some information which I think will be helpful to everyone.
I receive information from Grandpa Terry of Budget Stretcher News of a nerw E-book by Suzie Orman.
It is available from Oprah's website until 1/15.
The 2009 Action Plan
.If you deem it worthy I would suggest making it available to the community.
