Success is the maximum utilization of the ability that you have. - Zig Ziglar
Sara was devastated when she lost her job. A divorced mother of two children, she needed support with her job search. Thankfully, she was able to find another job in her field in just four months. What was her ticket to success? Using a one-stop Career Center.
Sara made looking for a new job her new job. She would go to the career center every day! What she found there was connection with fellow job seekers, supportive staff, tools and resources, and hope.
Did you know there are thousands of one-stop career centers in the United States? They are federally funded and don't advertise their services. Unless you get a letter in the mail while collecting unemployment inviting you to an orientation, you may never know what is available to help with your search! The good news is that they provide support and resources to both employed and unemployed job seekers. Better still, it is all free.
