Day 9 Changed My Life RIght Now!

Goal Setting...something that has evolved through the years for me especially since 2000. At first, I got sick to my stomach when anyone (coaches) asked me to set a goal.  I resisted, I avoided, I strongly disliked it, but everyone kept talking about it being such a big deal. Of cours »

Doing the hard things 1st, stopping procrastination

I hadn't really realized what I was doing to myself by putting things off.  Yes, it cost me something and possibly even more time to do it later.  But the cost to me in "confidence in myself" pulling through and being reliable was the greater cost.  This is definitely on »

Always wanted to go to India

India is on my lifetime goals list and now I have grabbed the opportunity to do it, travelling with my sister and brother in law and some of their friends I know.  My wife is not going as she is concerned about the food, etc., so I am not holding back and I am going on my own - a rather un »

I grabbed the opportunity to do a unique 5 week course/adventure

Rather than doing the same old stuff and rather than doing it at the same old level, I decided to do the Option Institute 5 week summer sequence - and to learn this stuff at a higher and deeper level, to really complete on it, so I can contribute more to myself and be more of an "expert" w »

Cleared out a massive amount of clutter

I cleaned out the closets of all stuff that was just sitting there serving no real purpose, including making some "tough" decisions on giving away some pretty nice stuff - but stuff that wasn't being used.  And everything looks so much neater and not overpacked.   I real »

Internal conversation much more positive, tapes are great

I have been listening at least once a day (mostly twice) to the 10 minute or so affirmations plus I added my basic gratitude, writing that all out and dictating it into my PDA, so I can listen to it when I am eating breakfast or doing anything. Even if I have to do something else, like org »

Stretching, being flexible - yoga class

I did as coach assigned, beside the tools lesson, and went to a (Dharma) Yoga class. I can't believe how stiff and unlimber I am.  The class is "stretching" me into new horizons.   I am happy about getting this into my life! »

Exercise increased to non-sporadic, no excuses

I "got it" when Coach commented on this.  I was letting myself put off a few days here and there of my 3-4 days a week.  Now, I don't lose track because I do it every day, virtually without fail, even if it's only for 10 minutes.   I feel kinda proud and good ab »

Dropped sugar and flour -easy!

Dropped almost all sugar (don't anything sugary) and almost all flour (as that, too, sets off the alarms and stresses the body). I "get it" about responsibility, rather than letting my life be run by addictions and artifical, short term highs.   Funny thing, I don't »

Weight down 20 lbs. No effort, no discomfort.

I eat all I want (within reason, to fill myself up and not go hungry).  I took responsibility for not trying to get a "hit" in my life from food, but to have it actually come from living life iitself. »

Dropped all soft drinks

Figured this was acidic and did no good, so I just dropped diet cherry coke and the rest - and it's all good and easy.  And I feel better about life, too. »

To do List

I learned how to do a "To do List". I must do the most important things first. I never thought of looking at the whole list and just doing the important things first. It sounds so simple now. But before "Tools" I would just do something on the list because it was the easiest thin »
