| Esperanza | weekend furry Seems I cannot find time to declutter during the week - i work a 4/10 week which means early to rise early to bed and I literally have just a few hrs when i get home to do all my prep for the next day, dinner, ect - so i'm making some time to declutter this weekend.

| Sahndra_om | Got stuck! We have been on lock down/clean and sanitize everything mode because my children brought head lice home  !!! Not sure where the kids got it because my kids stay the night at neighbors houses often and when I called everyone when I found out that my kids had it they apologized(???) Anyway decluttering is on back burner for now. What a nightmare!!! By the way...if anyone ever has this problem(heaven forbid)Avoid using chemicals like RID and NIX,they are very bad for you and do not work. Antiseptic mouthwash(Listerine)on head with shower cap for 2 hrs. then white vintager with shower cap for 1hr. Having 4 kids I have dealt with this before and this treatment is by far the best! (GROSS) |

| Wordbird | More kitchen fixin' Now the other cupboard all clean, organized, washed. Gosh, that feels great. Next: do I NEED all that stuff in there? |
| Motivated Mom | Closet complete Finally finished all of my bedroom closet. Bought new shoe rack and hangers and cleaned off the shelves. It looks so clean and organized, why is it I still have nothing to wear???
At least I can find things now. Now I need to decide on the medical insurance, school files or the dreaded office.

| Wordbird | Kitchen cupboard Hooray! I cleaned out my kitchen canned, baked and spice cabinets today. Will donate some, trash some. I organized what is left so I will find be reminded to eat it. I will cmpost all my spices and replace with fresh. I don't have my official compost pile anymore so I'll just bury the lot 6" underground in my little garden. Those nutmegs should give some worm a real boost!
Feels great. I have "been meaning" to do this a while. CHECK! Off the list. Love it! |

| Wordbird | Goal Tracking myself That's wonderful the story about discovering a card from your mom. One of life's little treasures and gifts, a surprise like that.
In my own Clean Sweep declutter challenge I was the worst! It took me forever to get motivated and on track and make decisions about what to declutter. By time I really got going there was only a week left (though better late than never). Thank goodness for second chances like this challenge!!
So here I declare that by the end of the week I will have set up a declutter system and three projects I want to achieve. I will start envisioning a more clear, clean space like that freshly cleaned desk you talk about! |
| Esperanza | Declutter at work I finished decluttering my space at work Fri. finally went through a pile of old files and reports that had no significance any longer - probably more that 20 but putting that for Fri. Now on to the house today!! |
| swifty | I found something valuable while decluttering Hello everyone! While " decluttering " my bookshelf , last night I discovered an Easter card stuck between books... it was from my mother ( she died in October, 2000).. no date on the card... but the message she wrote ..." I am sending $500.00 cheque Buy yourself and Roy ( my son ) some Spring and Summer clothes, I love you very much"...I really felt that she is with me very strongly...and by the way.. I won $95.00 on a lottery ticket ! I guess there is more to come ??? Blessings and de-cluttering to all... Love, swifty |

| Motivated Mom | Decided on the closet. Ok, so yesterday I did my magazines. 136 and today started on my closet. 10 pairs of shoes. Bought new hangers for my clothes. Will start replacing them tonight and tomorrow. Need to stop for now as I have a friend coming over.
