For the next 30 days, let's eat healthily. Fresh meats, fruit and vegatables, lots of water. We all know what healthy foods are. Let's do our best over the next 30 days.

Well so far so good.  A few slip ups but many more successes then failures.  Not noticing it in weight but I am noticing it in my skin and in my energy level.

 

I feel squeeky clean!

Not going to count today. I had my hearty salad dinner, did my exercise, but the place I was headed for breakfast, on my bike, was closed. My only option was a biker bar! I ate "breakfast" there. Not bad, truly. But...not that healthy. At least I had a side salad. And no coffee or soda. I'd give myself a 1/2 point, I guess, if I could.

I am not believing how well this is going. It's amazing. Today I pondered chicken or fish, junk or salad...and again, I was able to choose a hearty salad. Someone mentioned how "junk" food loses its appeal after a short while. That's true for me right now. It's looks all plasticy and doughy and pale. I mean...compared to FRESH crunchy, moist, colorful, foods? No contest. 

 

Still there is something of a siren in those junk foods. What IS that? It's those evil sirens on the shore calling and calling, trying to make the sailors crash on the rocks! So far I am covering my ears. 

 

Have lost 8 lbs also. Which is a bonus! I don't have any house or pool boys chasing after me (yet). Lol. When the heads start turning then I'll know I have restored my vitality and health. People are attracted to that. I believe completely it's not weight. Or features. It's that sparkle in the eye, the energy in the walk, the color in the cheeks. Eating JUNK takes away all of that. 

 

I love to see all those great 1's in here.

rouhg day today at least 5 glasses of wine. sorry. no thought of challenge tonight, work was VERY rough today. Will make it up to you all tomorrow.

Made it through my fast! Had a big fruit and chicken salad to celebrate. Grapes for dinner. 

And a single miniature candy. I consider that ok. I believe that small treats on occasion are a good thing. Just so they stay small, and on occasion, they aren't "junk." To me junk means oily, greasy, sugary, mindless eating of something I know is not good for me.

As I was about to take a second peace I stopped and thought of this challenge.

I'm on a liquid fast today. Looking forward to a great fruit smoothie later. So I'm giving myself a 2 again! Because let's see if I can sustain this no junk. It's making a difference in my eyes and skin already. Plus down weight.

not doing too badly, apart from one slice of cake I am doing well. Yesterday I found I was starting to crave healthy food instead of junk - I had a yummy salad and some soup instead of what I wanted (bread, cakes)

I'm also finding that the less crap I eat, the more energy I have....I have even been taking my vitamin supplements and an iron supplement too.

YES!! If you do really well give yourself a 2, a great idea.

I did so well today I'm giving myself a Two! lol. Hope that's ok.

 

I worked out at the gym, then I had a wonderful pecan, cranberry and walnut salad. 

 

This morning I had two eggs and an English Muffin. 

 

I had a vegetable juice for lunch, and a half tuna sandwich. 

 

No snacks. No junk.

Started my day as Dr Carlos recommends, with some hot water with fresh lemon in it. Feels so refreshing. And somehow makes not eating junk easier, the rest of the day. 

 

Bought a mongo salad for lunch today.
