WordbirdWordbirdJOIN THE NEW READ CHALLENGE?
There's a new read daily challenge if ya'll want to continue the wonderful habit...still a little time to join if you hurry! I joined...
GokuGokuDang!!!

Missed entering my last three days.  Woops!

Can add another 35 to that forsure.

Thanks for the Challenge and keep reading everyone.

so2uso2uI was out of town
This closed before I could report in. Thanks to everyone this has been a terrific reminder of the power of the Word... thanks for making it happen. so2u
WordbirdWordbirdApologies...challenge just closed this second

I'm too late. The challenge has just closed this minute. I think with only one day left there's little change of fixing this in time.

thank you so much for this great challenge. I enjoyed it very much.

WordbirdWordbirdCount and close, Day 29

It appears to me that all the challenges closing yesterday or today have closed early; and/or the final day icon is not appearing.

I'm suggesting you enter your final day count into Day 29, rather than lose it.

Meanwhile I'm checking with the technical people to see if we can resolve this. But...that may not happen in time before it closes.

So I suggest put your count in Day 29, and consider the challenge closed.  If something else happens I'll let you know.

alexnikkialexnikkiHlep, please
Are any of you have trouble posting the number of blogs?  I still have no icon.
WordbirdWordbirdWow!
708 pages left to goal. Can we close in on it???? I'll do my best tonight...
GokuGokuReading about the Dalai Lama

Just learning about the early days (youth) difficult to picture how they live there.  Need to look it up on a search.

Anyways, great challenge so far.

alexnikkialexnikkiI'm back
Hey, guys.  I had some physical problems last week but I'm back now and doing better.  I posted my days of reading that I had recorded.
so2uso2uWhere are you?
Where did all the readers go? Wink
so2uso2uReading can be so relaxing
I had forgotten how relaxing reading can be even if you are tired... no mistake Coach asks us to read before we go to bed at night...
WordbirdWordbirdKeep with it
Missed some days....I really miss the reading. This is a great challenge. I need another couple big read days to make my goal. Hmmm...something nice and summery and relaxing maybe....
WordbirdWordbirdBig reading shot in the arm
Finished a fun book on leadership; and then made good headway into a great book on green. I would like to read some fiction...should do that. But got great reading done today.
IrabellaIrabellaReading but not always "good" stuff...

I've been doing a lot of fiction reading lately - its harder to stick with reading my other books. But today I sat while my daughter was at swimming and read 40 pages of my organizing book. Think I am overthinking it, I usually try to write notes while reading these types of books which slows me down (and makes me unmotivated to read them!)

EdenscapesEdenscapesWow!
What a wonderful goal!  I might have to try that later.  Turn that TV off, turn the radio on, and read and relax (that's almost unheard of).
WordbirdWordbirdTwo goals, one day: Bookstore me too!

Oh look at that! I came to write about my afternoon at the book store! How Kool you already wrote about that.

Sigh. I had a great time. I drank a green tea Latte, my first ever--piled books high on the table and read and read.

Also read quite a lot of a book while waiting in the MD's office for my annual checkup. (A TTL and Optimal Health goal--take care of medical checks, PLUS my challenge, in one sitting!)... he was running late so I got to read more than 40 pages. But guess what...I hardly noticed he was late and when he apologized for being late I said cheerfully, "Forgettabout it!" Cuz...I enjoyed the wait. PLUS...I'm all proud of myself for (finally) getting my Challenge reading done for the day.

Feels great. Thanks again for this fun and renewing challenge.

so2uso2uWhat fun-!!

Before we started, I went to a used bookstore and spent an entire afternoon there. I'm enjoying the books, the challenge and the conversation around our "community reading table". Read on...

WordbirdWordbirdBook goes along
Took a book with me today and found several short opportunities to read a few pages.
eiamrweiamrwAgree too
I recognize the above only too well. Even worse thanks to this challenge I did set aside some time to read during the week which is something I would most likely otherwise not have done.
Moose_lipsMoose_lipsAgree

You're right.  It's the same for me.  When I get too busy at work, I just don't find the time to read.  I have to concentrate on working that out.

Of course, if I counted what I read for work, I'd have no troubles, but that's not the kind of reading that I was thinking of when I started this challenge.  :)
