| alexnikki | Enjoying this so much I have enjoyed settling down with a good novel. I always have but I'm still working on reading during the day. Informative or inspirational . I've got the books out and ready to go. The only problem is, I don't know which one I want to start with. LOL

| alexnikki | New book I am now reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. The book that I just finised, The Wedding, is a prelude to it. Although I've read The Notebook years ago, I just had to read it again.
I like reading educational or self improvement books during the day then at night, I sleep so much better reading an upbeat novel. I get nice and comfy in my bed, turn on my reading light, and start turning the pages.
I wake up in such a good mood. I just love it. |

Oh, I book the buys, even skim the pages, but I haven't actually read anything even fiction for at least two years. I finished my second book last night, Napoleon Hill's Keys to Positive Thinking. It was great to sit down relax and really try to digest all of the information. |
| Wordbird | Tools Day for books Thanks, yep that's the one! And some magazines for on the road, bus, elevator or waiting for an appointment.
I read magazines during the commercials when I'm watching a show or movie. (yes, they really are that long these days. I'm amazed how much I get read).
Really enjoying my Jon Katz book. I'm on the chapter about Elvis the massive steer who likes apples and people. |
| eiamrw | Reading and tools I know of one shopping day. I think it is day 21 you are to buy books a light one for before sleep a book for studies and a challenging but fun book.
Today I sat on a terrace resting a bit having a couple of coffees while reading. |

| so2u | I'd like to know What does Tools say about reading? I've been out of town taking care of some business so didn't get much reading in. Love to read and look forward to this Challenge and the insights it will bring into our collective minds. |
| Wordbird | Dog Days by Katz Dog Days by John Katz. He's a former city journalist who rescued a dog and ended up buying a whole farm to put the rescued dog on, then fell in love with the farm, and moved to it.
Now he makes a living writing books about all the animals on his farm; how a city boy can sort of fit into farming; and the differences between pets and animals kept for making money.
For instance folks around there take Steers to market but Katz ends up with a massive Bull named Elvis, as a pet on his farm. when Elvis lies down out in the field, the house shakes.
It's good reading and full of the daily events and struggles of life on a farm.
Like everyone I joined the Challenge to get myself into a habit of reading cuz I have various half read books around. Anyone want to go find the page Coach wrote about reading in TTL? |

| Goku | Just to keep it up Been reading a bio on Gordon Ramsay, great book really gives insight to the way he acts on TV. Also reading Asimov's robot series (IRobot...) great read as well. Once I finish these I want to find a "hero" book that I would fancy. Still trying figure that one out.
Anyway, glad to be here and this is a great idea.
