Glenn | Hi Antonia Still up for the sleep before midnight challenge ? |
![]() | NOT DOING WELL AT THIS i MAY WITH DRAW FROM THIS CHALLENGE. I am having trouble sleeping and due to my Spinal pain I am spending as much time as I can cleaning, especially on my good days when the pain is less. |
martind43 | On track at last Failing badly so far, but tonights the night. |
Wordbird | Rising earl-ier I did not join as I couldn't decide about comitting to daily early rise. I tend to work sometimes until nearly dawn...so changing to early to bed would be a real change indeed. But! I have started getting up around 5 a.m. on some days, to enjoy the quiet, to have that time to myself, to go for a bike ride. Thank you for creating a challenge so I had opportunity to think about sleep, rest, and rising.
I hope things are safe and well with you. |
Glenn | How TO Do The Count Thank you for taking an interest in my challenge. Its an even bigger challenge when you dont have a secure place to wake up in, cause when I wake up at 2, I get out of my van onto the street. A very peaceful time, unless a Policeman asks me what Im doing, lol. ! I think the number of hours before midnight would be the best way to calculate.
THank you for helping me to be feel blessed and greatful that the thieves did not do me any bodily harm

Wordbird | Setting up the hours, when, best, How will we do the count? 1 for each day we get to bed by our chosen time? Or...number of hours before midnight we get to sleep? Looking for ideas on how to set this up.
I read recently more about this sleep and rejuvenation. They say for instance you must be deep asleep at 2-4 a.m. because the liver refreshes and recovers during that time. I see now that you intend to get up at 2 so check out this liver thing.
I love the early morning hours, and would like to consider this challenge.
As for the theft of your belongings, that always feels so crummy. Thieves are cowards and don't know the damage they do. It is very good however that they intended and did you no bodily harm. Feel blessed in that respect. |
