I'm doing my annual Christmas in July event.

I organize plan and do prep. for the Christmas holiday early sewing crafting in the cool of the basement while the seasonal summer temps. sizzle out side. Some of the fun events include:

ATV-Nancy	CI = Checking In This dental work has sent me for a loop not fun I'll be glad when my crown gets here..
ATV-Nancy	Prayer Shrug This week I've been knitting on a prayer shrug while I'm on the mend after the dds apt. and have finished a navy blue one. Now I'm working up a pink one.
ATV-Nancy	Dream / coin jar box for Wed. Put dream prompts in a jar; or special box. Put coins in a jar for holiday account. I found a jar at the thrift shop and it's great to use for this. One in a pint size and one in quart size. It sure came in handy when we had an out of town emergency trip for a furneral. I set up a monthly account at the bank we deposit in for the holidays too. [Going to the dentist office in the a. m.]
ATV-Nancy	Tues. CI Tweak Recipes I tried out sweet fruit bread mix recipes in loaf pans and they are great!
ATV-Nancy	Mon. CI Trying out a muffin mix in bread pan recipe today. something I can chew and these are a hit. I'm going to get some done ahead for the deep freezer. Yummy! They have varations on the size of the box to try too! With the diff. mixes and the variations you can get a half doz. kinds!
ATV-Nancy	DDS I broke a tooth so this may hamper my progress.
ATV-Nancy	Sun. CI Started a shades of lavander shall over the weekend. Went to a yard sale and got some free fabric that can be cut in to squared for new grand baby's blanket.
ATV-Nancy	Sat. CI My Sat. Check In; I got out the cook books yesterday. Have finished a prayer shawl in a triangle shape. Organized the gift dresser and gift closet next. Make a list and invetory items. Round up a few other things and fill a gift bag for on hand gifting.
ATV-Nancy	Checking In Way to go gals on your progress. Today's goal get waffle recipes rounded up to go in holiday note book.
ATV-Nancy	CI = Checking In Working on the holiday storage / sewing / hobby craft room zones this month. Get some plastic bins and have been transferring the Christmas decorations over in to them from cardboard boxes. Some of the clear plastic bins to use, on wheels area great for art supplies. Others in colors like yellow, blue, red, and green for color coding storage items. Set aside a place and time for hobbies like the sewing room and other creative pursuits these help to keep us happy and emotionally healthy. ATV-Nancy	Wed. Spend some time on project cleanup, focus on hobby, craft storage areas clear your work space, organize supplies you use in the storage zone and after each session of working on craft, art & hobby, and holiday projects. Decide on items to make and use for this year. I spent most of the afternoon looking for a recipe; did not find it until I'd sorted through most of the stuff I had here in the office. Got a bag out to the trash. That sure felt good.
ATV-Nancy	Gifts Gift tags and gift bags Adding two more things to the list. I have a punch that punches out gift tags saves time. Grands love to use it and draw on them and write names to the recipients of their home made craft gifts.
jetall	Monday, July 7 Sunday is a day of rest for me also. Today (Monday) I followed Nancy's lead and purged Christmas music.

ATV-Nancy	Sun. Sun. is a rest day for me. Consider rounding up crafts that have migrated to the living room and other parts of the house and putting them back in to the craft zone or craft room. Put this on your list for me I need to do this about once a week.
Doll	Starting on Monday I'm still on holidays until Tuesday but will put my list together on Monday. Happy planning! Doll
ATV-Nancy	Today I'm in a happy state of mind now that I'm beginning to work on this challenge. create a to do list in and on or off line planner to help you with your goals.
ATV-Nancy	De-clutter storage area I've been working on de-cluttering storage area. If you are like me you have stuff piled in and around this area; some of it may include sewing and or mending that needs attn. I hemmed some pants for hubby last week and this week we took a trunk load of stuff to donate to the thrift shop. No one needs three fake Christmas trees! Way to go gals for joining giving us all a star soon as I figure out how to do that! LOL
