Wordbird | Supporting Team Members Take a second if you would like to and BOOST our friend deeplikeariver. He cannot join the Phase II because he is looking after family members and has a full plate I wonder if most of us could manage. He could use a TOOLS lift any time you have a minute.
He did an AMAZING job here. Look at those points! And he joined by accident.
He reminds us that many people put in hours of hard exercise at their jobs, and they don't make any excuses. We CAN exercise every day. At least for a few minutes. Like Charlotte! You just do one minute every day and every day and it matters. I'm talkin' to you Zengirl. :) |

Wordbird | New Challenge Set Up Whether you knocked the socks off this Challenge (as so many of you did!!!) or you found it a "challenge" (as so many of us did!) come on over to join the Phase II Challenge of Get Strong, Hit Gym, Exercise, Lose Weight. Starts in about 50 hours. |
Wordbird | Day 29 and 30 may not take points I notice sometimes the last day or two of the challenges isn't taking points for some reason. Just to prepare you for that possibility. If you arrive to put in Day 29 or 30 points and there's no icon, add your points to Day 28 if you can.
Or, take them over to the new challenge.
I'm sure this will be fixed as soon as staff can get to it.

Congrats to people like me who are s-o-o-o close! shecan and winged_b and sure thing! I lost four lbs this week!
And Congrats to everyone who did a single minute of extra exercise they would not have done otherwise. It makes a difference. It starts to change your patterns and choices and your health. Even that you signed up is a step. So be proud of yourself.
And don't anyone quit! I hope to see you all at Phase II. If not keep on keeping on with all your believe in yourself. |

What did getting yourself out there to exercise, or lifting those lobster cages, coming up with creative ways to get more exercise, and joining a group to take credit for that hard exercise, do for you?
For me it is really fun! It is a blast to watch all of you log in, and hear what all you were doing. I took off some pounds which friends remarked on this weekend. And finally, I got myself set up with a schedule and routine for the gym! |

That's ok not to get things perfect; and to notice how it can be a "challenge" to keep up a routine even when it's fun and good for us. We need each others' help and inspiration. And a place to log in.

Wordbird | Gym, bike, signed up for Yoga It's never too late to finally get my act together! I made a schedule for this month when I will work out; I made an excel chart for my time and weight; and signed up for Yoga.
For me it's a matter of making the gym a top 4 priority. It feels SO GREAT to exercise. I'm making it a regular routine and part of daily life and happiness.
There have been a lot of studies that show women in particular but everyone who is stronger for some reason has more confidence in the other areas of their life. Women who work out get better salaries, find better jobs, take more trips, go for bigger dreams. This is any woman--her all around life improves in amazing ways after she starts exercising regularly. For men, their confidence, happiness, sleep and overall health and longevity increases. |
Wordbird | 2557 left. Can we do it?? There's a bunch of you. Glad to see you! Nudged some others. I know it gets hot, vacations, summer plans....and exercise is still so important. Move indoors if it is hot. Mall walks, gym, or try the local water park and shady beach. Find a shady nature trail to bike early in the a.m. Or use that home DVD.
