Guilt is some thing everyone faces, people who think they can damage us we hold a view of ourselves. Sometimes, we are caught up in a situation where we feel we have failed & then we start to blame ourselves for not done better as it is not good to blame ourselves, we can change our thoughts about negative thinking. Change your thoughts to positive thinking affirmations etc. Do it for yourself don't expect that person to change, you got to change yourself. because I know myself what it's like to be abused, my ex-husband all most killed me many times. I left him around the worst time Christmas of all times, but it's either stay and get killed or get out. So I got out and saved my own life also my kittens life she was scared of him too!
