I will post links to websites and articles that deal with specific subjects regarding this subject, but I also encourage you to seek out other methods of learning, such as setting up an appointment to meet with a financial advisor, or even just someone you trust and feel comfortable with, like a close friend or family member.

Please note that there are plenty of other groups on this site which discuss the reasons you may feel which may be holding you back from becoming more independent. However I would like the content of the postings here to focus on the skill sets and life skills necessary to achieve personal financial independence so please be mindful of this fact when participating.

Also any postings about "automatic wealth" systems or get-rick-quick scams will be promptly deleted, so if you want talk about those things don't do it here.
