Help eating without starch - added: Mon, Sep 14 05:02 AM

Hi Cica,

I would be happy to help but I'm still not sure about your initial question regarding starch.  Can you clarify that a little for me.  As an example of what I ate while I was losing weight:

woke up at home in hb ate quickly and drove to manhattan beach

4:00am

4 eggwhites

1 cup of asparagus

trained clients from 5am to 7am

700am

4 ounces of red snapper

1 cup of asparagus

trained clients from 8am to 9am

10am

4 ounces of grilled chicken breast

8 ounces of baked potato with

1 tbs low sodium (80mg) salsa

1 cucumber

drove to north hollywood to train more clients

1pm

4 ounces of tilapia

6 ounces of baked yam

1 banana

workout (1 hour)

then drove to santa monica to train extreme makeover clients

3pm

4 ounces lean steak

5 ounces potato with

1 tsp mustard and 1 tsp hot sauce

6pm

4 ounces red snapper

1 cup spinach salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded celery, and lemon juice/splenda/cumin dressing

drove home

9pm

4 ounces steak

4 ounces potato with

1 tbsp low sodium salsa

1 hour of cardio/shower then bedtime.

Thats just me.  Please just use this as a guidline as my diet contains starch and may not be suitable for your medical needs.

Yours in Good Health,

Kris

Thank you so much Kris!

That's the break down I wanted to see.

For a woman would I have to half the size of the meals?

P.S. As far as the starch I think I missed the potatoes on the shopping list.

How much oatmeal for breakfast? If any?

Thank you, cica

Hi Kris!

Thanks for responding.

If I can have a daily menu as an example I would like that.

I don't really know how to start it off even.

Breakfast than in 3hrs. What? than in 3hrs etc.

Thanks, Cica

Eating without starch... - added: Fri, Sep 11 11:06 AM

Hi Cica,

I'm very happy to help you trouble shoot your diet.  Starch covers a lot of ground when it comes to food.  Can you be a little more specific.  Maybe you can email me directly and give me some specifics about your dietary limitations.  Starches by our definition are basically anything with carbohydrate.  Thanks.
