Diversify seems like a good theme for the future...find business options to replace certain business markets.
I am expanding toward contract software: User Guides, CNC programming for woodworking applications, CAD drawing projects, while taking on part-time jobs...while finding more market sources.
At recent Machine Tool Show, an old friend said there would be a two year slowdown as part of a cycle that he has seen until political changes in USA-Canada-China-India enable middle class to survive and suceed ...here and in China.
Finding new markets is my target...that and picking best focus for time I do have....

There are many different business, products, or services out there, and the recession affects each one differently.
I have a pet sitting business and studies have consistently shown that people will not stop spending money on their pets, but they will spend it in different ways.
With people cutting back, last month was a hard month. People are not taking as many trips as they were. However the holidays are coming and we are getting booked again.
It has motivated me to expand the services that we offer...
trying to turn a problem into opportunity : )
