I've been reading all of the back posts, and what a neat place this is! I was a hoarder as a young adult, because as a child I had a schizophrenic stepfather who moved us at least once every 6 months. It took a lot of pain to get through the idea that I do not NEED a lot of things to be happy, and I switched perspectives.
The television show Clean House is what finally made me SEE where I was headed, and my life and that of my family has been happier since.
We are moving across states this May or early June, and I am determined to bring no clutter with me.
Look forward to reading more of your posts!
Have a beautiful day!

Clean House is on the Style channel but if you type it into Google then you should be able to view some episodes online.
It opened my eyes to what I was teaching my children, and the legacy of clutter that I could have left them with. We all clean and de-clutter now, even the 2 year old! He likes to gather laundry and put it in the bin. :)
I wish you lots of luck!
