Writer's Block Sucks!

I just have to say that I guess I can be very stubborn. I started one of my stories about 3 years ago that I pick at every now and again. But lately it seems that I am doing more tweaking and rewriting of what I already have than actually writing an ending for the darn thing. I don't know if I need to restructure the whole story or quit procrastinating.

I think the real issue here is that I am in fear that my ending to a good lead up will disappoint my audience. I should just buck up and finish it already or move on to something else that I have been waiting to work on and see if it helps spark any ideas for this project. Anybody else get this kind of block? This is the first big one for me. I usually don't have a problem just ending a story in a tidy little package.

Me too - added: Tue, Nov 18 10:06 PM

I spent an entire week revising the same 15 pages of my novel every single day.  I got a tip from someone in my NaNoWrimo group.  Turn off your monitor so that you can't see what you've already written.  That's worked for me.  If I can't think of anything to write, I just start my next sentence describing any object in the room until I break through the block.

Good luck
