Forgiveness

This group is about unconditional forgiveness, which I have experienced to be a very healing self-therapy. It means one completely forgives any transgression one believes another person has committed against them. It means no blame, and assumes that negativity in human interaction is intended to teach YOU a life lesson, and is not necessarily a lesson for the other person.

There are 2 self-help methodologies I use that apply forgiveness - Connie Domino's "Irresistible Attraction", and Ho'oponopono, a Hawaiian practice that translates as, "to make right". Both methods extend forgiveness without condition to others, and you don't even have to express this forgiveness directly to the other person, just think it and wish it to be so.

The results I have achieved through forgiveness are sometimes surprising, but always positive and effective.

Personal peace is priceless, and you can give it to yourself if you allow yourself to forgive.

sticky! Ho'oponopono - 'making it right' - added: 2008-01-13 00:00:00

There are 2 'schools of thought' of the Ho'oponopono method of forgiveness and unconditional love. The first, original one was directed at family members. Author Connie Domino's approach to the Law of Attraction includes applying forgiveness. In Connie's book, "Irresistible Attraction" you'll find the usual goal-setting, positive thinking and visualization exercises in many other 'Secret' types of methods (Connie's work pre-dates The Secret). But Conn »
