My dream (3 years ago) was to be a movie producer. Most people raised their eyebrows when I said it because most say actor or director, not producer... but that is what I wanted. I went to Kennesaw State University to get a degree (knowing they didn't specialize in movies but they offered it so why not). After one year I started to get slightly depressed, then the next year I realized that no one saw me as outgoing enough to be a producer. Then last year I met my now husband, and had a baby.

Everyone told me that having the baby would end my life as I knew it, and it did do a 180 and left me seeing things a whole lot differently. I can't see that dream anymore. I can't see that lifestyle. When I was dreaming about the movie producer I always thought I would have kids but they don't fit into that life style... and movie producer doesn't fit into mommy lifestyle either.

So, I am asking all of the other members... Should I cahnge my passion and do something that I enjoy just as much?

I am currently studying Nursing. I have always loved science and how the body works and now that I am into it, I really see a joy for it. I can see family and daughter in a Nurse's life. Also, being a Nurse will let me fultill my other love which is writing novels. I have started 3 books so far and they are still only half way done on my computer.

So, the other question to ya'll is, have any of you been so sure about your dream to have it all completely change with a certain series of events?

Let me know, still deciding which path I should take....
