It is really kind of funny.  My husband owns his own Drywall business and since construction is either high or low we have learned to spend wisely, but it always seemed that when the high times were here we were out of everything, the kids needed new clothes, etc and the extra monies just seemed to disappear.  Guess it was because we did not purchase things as we went but waited until it was a desperate moment.  Any advice on how to make sure you save money?  On the low times (usually winter) we dip into savings to get through.  I know that I need to begin working now that the kids are older and don't need daycare and I am working on that too with the help of Tools For Life.  But in the meantime any financial help is much appreciated.
