I have just joined tools and am hoping its going to help me deal with a few issues I have accumulated over the years, mainly, trust issues, dependancy issues (on people) self esteem issues....list goes on. I am here to get over all that and begin a new life. My life is not bad, I just make it out to be. First thing I want to change is my lack of self esteem and am beginning the new body makeover. Lack of motivation has stopped me from continuing in the past and I am hoping this time its going to stick. This is the first time I have participated on a site like this and am excited to get started and hoping to get inspired by others with the same issueswho are coping well and feeling better than when they first started.:)
Congratulations on joining the site. It's great that you have made the decision to get in better shape. I lost about 70 pounds over four years and feel much much better about myself. It was hard and there were ups & downs, but the main thing I focused on was changing one small thing at a time. The jumpstart diet program really helped me get started - I guess thats why they called it what they did! Good luck with your new way of thinking and being. These programs are awesome!
