Thought is cause: experience is effect.

If you don't like the effects in your life, you have to change the nature of your thinking. --Mariannne Williamson

I read this above quote this morning and I was inspired.Below is nother bit of reading I did.

Renewing Yourself and Connecting with Others Through Mindfulness, Hope and Compassion.

Mindfulness. The awareness of what is really happening within your body, mind, heart and spirit, while paying attention to what is going on around you. There is no one particular path to mindfulness. However, help can be gained from meditation, prayer, exercise, music and being in nature

Hope.  A course of action on clearly articulated goals, believing the goals can be met and eventually reaching them with a sense of well-being. Having hope can help us face serious illness and can prime other positive emotions and thoughts in ourselves and others.

Compassion. To be truly resonant with others, you must genuinely care about them.

"Copasssion =Empathy and caring in action,"  It involves caring enough about someone to find out what makes them tick, which means minimizing prejudice and pre-judgments.
