Would you say that because of the way you were raised that determines who you are? Or would you say that you decide the choices you make regardless of the environment you grew up in?
So if you were raised to have bad eating habits, abusive relationships, drug habits ect does that mean you are going to be overweight, addicted, or unhappy because of your background?
Until you have reached a point in your awareness where you notice that most of your habits are shaped by your environment you are mostly made by your environment.
It is that will power and willingness to work hard at it which allows you to change your habits according to your own choices however hard that is especially with mental habits.
I find it very difficult to make better habits really stick, they seems to manifest only for a certain period and then vanish again until I revitilize them.
What is your strategy to make habits, especially mental habits like seeing the silver lining to every situation stick?
