This is a really old post but are you still looking for the subject for your creativity? I stuggle with this as well, though I always am drawn to paint flowers because they are so beautiful. Landscapes as well. I want to learn and am studying on my own to paint portraits of people. I mean so they look like the people they are painted from when I am finished :-)
