Colorado

Anyone currently living or have traveled to CO?  If so I'm looking for some input :)  As part of the process of starting my new life, I want to move somewhere new.  I've pretty much lived in the same New England state all my life and I'm ready to try something new.

I'm leaning towards Boulder, everyone tells me I'd fit in great- its a great college town with laid back and friendly people.  On the other hand, I do already know people in Vail.  The problem with Vail is I feel like after ski season there is not much to do, and while I do snowboard its not my life.

Any advice/thoughts will be much appreciated!
