This week's subject: Being Grateful
Daily Podcast November 30, 2008 "December A Month of Change”
December a month of change. The usual way of thinking is that December is a month we write off. We think that since it is the holiday's nothing counts and I will get to my life needs when the New Year starts. Let's instead be grateful that we have the now and use it to create positive changes in our lives and start the New Year feeling great.

Daily Podcast November 28 2008 “One Of Your Greatest Assets”One Of Your Greatest Assets, is your family and friends. All week long as we have been paying attention to being grateful we have been recognizing the people in our lives. What we need to realize is that it is the people in our life that bring the greatest pleasure and value to our lives. Let’s continue to appreciate them! |
Daily Podcast November 27, 2008 "A Grateful Twist"A Grateful Twist
Turn around. Wherever you are right now turn around. It’s not silly, just take a chance and twist around. You are in the same spot but everything is completely different. There are always at least two sides to everything.
We get stuck in one view when if we could just take a twist we could see a completely different one. So let’s twist our view around and see what the world has to offer us. Let’s see what we are thankful for. Today we are going to twist our thinking around. |
Daily Podcast November 26, 2008 "A Real Thanksgiving"Five Easy Steps to the Real ThanksgivingStep One: Hold Hands Don’t be shy, this is a simple process of connecting to each other.
Step Two: Be Silent We are always in such a rush and miss so much as we do. Take ten seconds here and think about as a group all the things you are thankful for. The experience will be powerful.
Step Three: The Opening Someone is picked to start and begins with a simple statement. Thanksgiving is a day of thanks and I would like to share three things I am thankful for: 1._______ 2. ________ 3. _________.
Step Four: Passing of thanks. Each person then says to the group three things that he or she is thankful for.
Step five: Eat, laugh and enjoy! I guarantee that taking this small amount of time will put you in touch with the real Thanksgiving making it so much better and maybe one of your best.
Thanksgiving Day is a jewel, to set in the hearts of honest men, but be careful that you do not take the day and leave out the gratitude.
Wishing you all the best,
Devlyn Steele and The Tools Team |
Daily Podcast November 25, 2008 "Thanksgiving Mail"Thanksgiving Mail
As we rush through our lives to unknown places, we forget many of the things that bring value to living. With how many friends have you lost touch? When was the last time you appreciated the people in your life and told them so?
In today’s world with phones, cell phones, instant messaging and email, we are so in touch, we are out of touch. Communication is so high-speed it can speed right by us. There’s a huge difference between getting an email and getting a card. When you take the time to go to a card shop, pick a card, write something in it and mail it, you really show someone that he or she counts. It wasn’t easy nor was it quick; it shows that’s how much you care. It’s also amazing.
