Anger is a feeling you get when you don't get what you want. It's usually something out of your control and that is precisely why you are angry to begin with. And you can't change the situation that is making you angry a lot of times. You can't always remove yourself from the situation either. Having a pretty picture in your head of how you would like the situation to be doesn't make it happen. (Like getting angry doesn't lower gas prices, but picturing what you want-lower gas prices- won't make them lower either). Suppressing your feelings can't be good for you either, I think it can lead to heart attack, but neither is going on an out of control tyrade, like a loose cannon, for a long period of time either, in fact this can create another bad situation.
So is there a difference between feeling anger and actually losing your temper?
How do you cope with the unacceptable situation before you? Pretending you are not angry does not get what you want, either. This subject is a difficult one.
Also how do you cope with unreasonably angry people and without making them even more angry?
