Success at day 90

Because the changes I have made using Tools to life have been small and incremental ... it's sometimes difficult to know how much tools has changed my life. But I have a number of success stories, including: (1) Losing 6 kilos (13 pounds) and toning up(2) Running 12 kilometres (7.5 miles)(3 »

Savings

One of my big goals for tools was to save $500 in 90 days.  I did it...but -- and this is the weird part.  I didn't really try.  I know that flies in the face of everything tools, but I really didn't do anything...the money came to me as a gift and I was able to save most of i »

I FINISHED TOOLS!

Not only is this a success in itself - I also did so after stopping the program for up to six months. I got discouraged by the money section (around day 68) and had some emotional issues that I used as an excuse to stop doing tools, which I did for a looooooong time! But one day I sat down »

Life's a changing

I thought I would write them down for posterity:Was called ubiquitious (yes, I had to look it up!)Discovered the power of being supportive to othersIgnored a couple of negative comments and didn't »

Faced my social phobia

I was invited to join a local running club and I actually went last night. I have some social phobia and I'm especially self-conscious when I run, so I usually do it alone and at night. But when I first started tools (more than a year ago), one of my goals was to join a club. I ha »

Managing my $ well

I just went over the whole past year's bank statements and figured out the difference for each month in what I had spent vs. what I had saved. For 10 of those months, I was in the positive column, even if some months it was by very little. I am going to continue to watch my spending an »

no soda

Today is the end of my third week without soda, I haven't gone this long since high school track season. The headaches are gone and I feel more energetic in the mornings. Not to mention better hydrated because it is all water and juice now.  »

I dun gradumacated!

Woo Hoo!  I finished with the final day of Tools...and I'm feeling a lot of the same emotions that I felt on graduation from ...anything else - high school, undergrad school, graduate school... This amazing combination of joy, relief, and unmitigated terror that now I join the ranks of »
