Success Stories: How Does It Work? »
When I was a child I had dreams of being a singer like Gwen Stefani. I hunted down a recording studio & a teacher who claimed to be a vocalist musician. In 2008 I finally got my chance to record my first album in my life, oh man I was excited that my dream was coming a live. One thing lead to another, making music videos, being on tv shows etc was the best life lesson I had. All of this is success I worked for ever since I dated a musician to interest in my musical talent and got me singing in his records. being reconized by Apra in ozzy put me in the silver scrolls awards here in New Zealand. The song that went into the Silver scrolls music awards was Chill in my vein. I got noticed and famous in New Zealand, people clicking onto my channel on youtube and adding me on facebook. All my fans that amire me as a artist leave me comments and messagesabout how much they adore my music. I was on national tv show called Mvvtv show and it was crap had endless interviews on the show though, but I was lucky to have my own tv show called Sound Wave named after my album and that was a blessing I'll never forget. My show was aired on the 1st August 2008, I'll never forget the day it was aired. I had my music played on the radio's in the wellington area, and interviews about my music. I worked hard, you don't get much time for relationships and friends, that's what made me want a normal life, fame can be a curse that if you can handle the pressure to be somethign I'm not. I have 8 music videos and 1 album, I am not continuing the career, as I wanted a normal life. It was a goal done from childhood, I have photo's of the album as proof to myself, a memory, a fantasy done. The sad part was my producer ripped me off she stole half of the copy rights to my songs I originally created, No thanks to her nasty personal issues against me. I'm no longer in the music industry as a musician but edit music videos for other bands, I dislike her loads. I do thank Gwen Stefani she helped me do what I wanted to do in life as she's inspired me to keep going. That is my success in music.
