Coco's video

When I saw the video that Coco put on her blog it made me realize how Tools makes a success of our lives now.  By supporting others in their challenges and opportunities we create success in our lives each day as well as in others.

When I retired the first time, I wanted to go to India and work with Mother Teresa. Her work had inspired my life in many ways. I actually received a response from her signed in her own hand...

She asked me to stay put.. Told me the loneliness we had in the West was the worst hunger of all, so I stayed, changed my business from "Lace and Little Stitches" to "A Work of Heart".

I was able to stay and teach thousands of students an art that had been handed down to me... My grandmother's patience and love was a gift I was able to share all over the world. What she taught me  I taught my students. Then they could create christening gowns and wedding dresses that would become heirlooms they could pass down to their families.

That's what makes Tools so wonderful, we may reach out and touch many who may not be hungry or dying in the body. But have a hunger  in their soul.

Simple touches, nudges, boots and challenges  bring life and hope into their broken hearts or wounded lives.

For me Tools is becoming a part of my life and a continuation of A Work of Heart, that Mother Teresa inspired me to start...
