The Secret

 

I just recently watched "The Secret".  It was very intriguing to "see" all of the "Magic of Believing" and "Strangest Secret in the World" stuff put in to visual form.  The metaphysical angle is what really intrigues me..... like wow, what if it really works like that?  Now wait, I do believe we are a result of our thinking and choices up until now, but the whole "my thoughts/faith can change the way external atoms react to give me what I want" ...or give me what I think about.  That is like whoa!  For me, prayer is the avenue to "ask and ye shall receive".  But prayer along with a renewing of my mind to believe in such a way that the "universe" (which is the Lord for me) will react based upon my belief.... that is scary powerful!  I mean, the bible says, "faith of a mustard seed...", but to actually "understand" how faith works... meaning what happens in the external unseen forces (such as energy) when faith is grasped and  applied.  It just makes it more believable.... like, I can do this!  It brings it out of the spiritual and in to "real world" application, if that makes sense?

 

I'm still pondering and searching through all of this so I haven't drawn an absolute conclusion yet.  Anything that I incorporate in to my life, I need to be able to "back up" with  scripture in some form or fashion.  I haven't always done that, but I try to be more conscious of it now.  But hey... "seek and ye shall find" right?  -G

Great, I purchased the whole course and it is unbelievably MAGIC.  I have not seen it in "Movie" form.  I found it to be one of the greatest, true, insightful and mind altering courses I have ever taken and the only one that I will use forever. 

Everything in this course can also be related to scriptures.  We have the ability "to move Mountains" through the Grace of our Saviour Jesus Christ and our Holy Father. (Scripture tells us this)!

My problem has been NOT using it enough because I have been in the deepest, darkest depression one can imagine. 

Finaly, with the help of a "Christian" counselor, prayer, getting in touch with "The Universal Mind", and my unwavering trust in The Lord, I am seeing results.

When I can find out how to do it, I will do a "blog".  All these terms, computer knowledge etc. are new to me but I WILL learn. 

My Bible, the "MAGIC" and the knowledge and belief of the "Universal" mind have already shown me signs, answered prayers and questions and much more. 

One of the values I learned was how to ask correctly, what to ask for and how NOT to jeopardize myself while doing so.

This is my first day here and I clicked on Blogs or wherever I am right now, just to see what people were saying.  I had no intention of getting involved yet but your Post hit me upside of the head and I was compelled to respond. 

Keep up your research, Bible Study and faith.  It works.

I do not even know who you are or your circumstances in life, all I know with certaincy is Faith and Knowlege are your most important assetts in Life.

The secret great and impact alot of people. The Abraham Hicks readings takes the secret to a deeper level.. It's in all of us !! We all have the power to create change. It's just understanding how the universe works. It has been my study for quite awhile and I have seen amazing changes in my life...
