I am Amazing!

Okay - that may seem like I am being boostful, but damn it! I am amazing! and it's okay to say it!!!!! For years (16 to be exact) I worked on restoring old victorian houses with my "X". I embraced it. I loved it! I hated it! I choose to do it, and I learned so much about fixing houses and I learned so much about myself.

So - why do I suddenly think I'm so amazing?!? Because I repaired an electrical problem on my own. I replaced a garbage disposal on my own. I repaired a radiator on my own. I serviced a hot water heater on my own. I installed a new toilet on my own....... The list goes on, and on and on, but it was repairing the electrical problem yesterday that was a major physical, mental, emotional breakthrough for me! It would take too long to explain why, so I won't, but I just want to mark the occasion! and say - "I am amazing!" There!

Have a great day! You are amazing, too! even if you don't know it yet!!!! bit, I hope you do know it!

Sure sounds like fun.  There is something about hammering something, learning something that is so worth the extreme measures or what seemed extreme beforehand.

Only as good as last extreme measure would be my vision, today.

My last career was built on learning to weld aluminum and operate a computer controlled weld test system...starting from welding skills learned decades ago and persuading managers that were sure that I could not achieve better weld test results than the welding technologist.

Thanks for your reminder.  I am about to restart a technical communications contract software business.  A business that was originated by extreme fast-learn of new software features...almost as much fun as hammering...:-)

Hey tec4,

Thanks for the support. I'm a Renaissance kind of girl. I embrace whatever I'm doing - 100% and then some! My parents were always telling me and my siblings that there is nothing we can't do if we just try! That has always served me well! I am so thankful that they were so positive, and that I was brought up with a "can do" attitude. Sounds as though you have the "can do" frame of mid too! Good luck with your new venture! ABMe:)
