New Books

"Who moved the cheese?"
By Spencer Johnson, M.D.
An amazing way to deal with change in
your work and in your life.

I read this book today and enjoyed it a lot!

Today it was cute how dear grand daughter
was not used to the carrots that were as fine as she was used to it was funny when she stuck out her tounge with bits of carrots
on it; her expression was kind of like
"what is it?"
"Get this weird stuff off of my tounge!"

I found a book  at a tag sale
"Good night hugs from God";
a devotional for kids that is great.

Reading the who moved the cheese book
had me thinking how often are we like my
grand daughter thinking get this wierd stuff
off of my tounge what is it!

Hubby is better today still coughing but
starting to get on the mend none the less
yea! Daughter and grand kids are better now
too, step - grandson seems to be getting it
now bummer!

Done with granny duty for a few days.

One of my favorites

Who moved my cheese?

This is a cry I hear from many when they get laid off and fail to recognize it really can happen to anyone, including them.

Or get passed over for promotion because there won't be any this year....or a business unit gets sold they wanted to transfer to....

Or start to come to terms that corporate America is and has changed.....a lot from how previous generations worked.....life happens, things change. Job security comes from knowng you can get another job....because you have what it takes to do so.

Cheese goes away in so many ways.

And, we can't change that the cheese is gone, no matter how painful it is. Only how we respond and what we do next is the real option...yet how easy it can be to stay stuck!

Who moved my cheese?

Spencer does a great job with making our options plain with how to handle it...seeing ourselves in the choice of characters presented...and also giving a glimpse of what a better way to go with the flow might be like......an adventure!

Glad you enjoyed it.
