says: I'm with wrknonit.  I'd enjoy the peacefulness of not having electronics buzzing all over my house!  Books, puzzles and a good cuddle with family or pets are always available.

I wrote a story about this situation, "The Power Went Off Today", and what life is like, without it. All our neccessities as we call them the refig, microwave, tv, radio, lights, stores, gas stations, etc do not work now...

People start fighting over food, and housing, to stay warm, no running waters so health get impared, wow life is going downhill fast now, how do we survive?

Long story short it was a dream but as I woke up i quickly payed my PG&E utility bill, so it wouldn't happen...  But it may no be that simple in the future, we might not have power available to us...

Think of what you can use without power?

says: I would enjoy the peace and quiet.  good luck

says:

in the day read a book or leave the house

at night I go to sleep
