Being divorced and on my own for a year and half after a thirty year marriage, I am finally feeling renewed.  Life is full and bustling, I am no longer a hermit in the woods.  My cityscape house and home is teaming with warmth and invitation.  Each day is presented to me as a gift, and it feels wonderful.  Although the dating scene today is much different than the world I left 35 years ago, it is at last something I've learned to navigate, after quite a large learning curve :)  Meeting new people and exploring new places is my current agenda.  I attend a culinary school in Tuscany, Italy each Spring.  Further travels are planned for the future. 

At mid-life, filling this section would be vast.  I have lived so thoroughly and fully, that there are no regrets.  I had a very difficult childhood, a home of abuse, alcohol and neglect, an early adulthood of living in fear of death from cancer.  My only goal in life was to have children and be the best mother that ever lived and raise successful people into adulthood -- to undo my own horrors.  I have achieved that goal beyond my greatest hopes and dreams.  Then, left alone, I had to face the demons within.  About 15 years ago, I moved my parents in with us, provided personal day to day care for them, they lived with us for five years, and then passed away.  I learned so much about life, the gifts we have, so many things through forgiveness.  I forgave my folks and gave them, probably, the best (last) five years of their life.  Forgiveness brings us through.

My future is going to be a great one.  I am  building so many new dreams and trying to develop as many artistic talents as I possibly can.  And, of course, it is my hope that my future will be filled with a very special love, one that I have yet to experience in this life.  But, I know what its going to feel like, I will know it when I find it.
