Zen and the art of household dejunking.

Well having finally gotten to beating my medicine cabinet into submission, by way of Dr. Carlos, I've been extremely brave and have been chucking out old video tapes and books for charity.

I should be paid danger money for this.  Twice I've avoided being narrowly brained by falling DVD or video tape.  Good job that my old noggin is relatively hard, in case it happens again.

So here I am...one full black bin liner of tapes and DVD's later and more to get rid of too.

Once I nearly managed to dispense of my Robin Hood DVD's with the rather lovely Richard Armitage in them.  This comes under the category of Annie, you silly bint, watch you're throwing out...

After that I'm moving onto books, which is going to be incredibly hard, but I'm going to prevail. I really don't need that Mills and Boons book I haven't read since 1990 something or other.  But I'm gonna to persist.

I know y'all can't see this, but I have my best resolve face here, honest injun.

And I had did likewise with my wardrobe yesterday.  The majority of stuff is going to charity, but some stuff I can sell on.  It's good to let go, I guess  Stuff like a very nice brown velvet jacket that seemed such a bargain at a tenner, but in reality made me look like a rather squat velvet cube thingy that you sit on.  Which in itself is remarkable seeing as I'm 5ft 9in n my stocking feet.

It's amazing how one area is picking up momentum and spilling into another...right.  Back to work.  Sadly for me, things don't sling themselves out, or tidy themselves away either.  But I guess if you want something, you have to work at it.
