Put your heart over the bar...

Not sure where to begin with this.  The path I thought I was on, was not the path I really wanted to be on.  So I've given myself a year to sort things out.  I'm applying to various universities, to do an M.A. in English or Poetry.  Sell my house...I want to downsize and simplify.  Buy a narrowboat and live on that...

It basically means moving away from everything I've known, but it's something that I need to do.  I guess like a snake shedding its skin for want of a better term.  Perhaps its a bit extreme for some people, but whilst I'm getting rid of things in my life that don't work for me anymore, I've changed my name legally.  Not something that I would reveal here, for obvious reasons.  But I outgrew it and again decided to simplify.

And to mark this next phase in my life, I'm going to get a a tattoo of she wolf.  I've seen one I like.  I just think they're graceful and there's something kind of wise about 'em...
