Lost Encouragement

Since I first started to post comments on particular blogs that catch my eye I have lost 4 comments and even more cheers.

What happens is this.  I get excited and want to share a few thoughts with someone.  So I post a comment.  I have found that when the persons profile is private, the comment does not go through and the message is lost.  While this is all fine and of no real concern.

It's terrific that many of you in the TTL community choose to maintain a higher level of privacy.  It's great that this privacy feature is in place.  Just realize that some of us are cheering you and encouraging you in comments and it's not registering because you are in private mode.  While the lost message or cheer is no big deal.  It is however important to let you know that you are being supported.

One final thing I don't send out messages to people when I find they are in private, it kind or defeats the purpose of them being in private.  You have to respect someone when they have opted for the private feature.
