Ya But.

I'm going to warn people that they may not want to continue to read this edition of my blog.  For one thing the topic I am addressing is an issue that I feel needs to be dealt with using some vigor.  In this way, I can shake off all the times I have to hear or read it.  It's also a way for me to put other people on notice that I don't appreciate it.  At least those people who continue to read.

Yes, I do say my attitude is my decision when I hear or read this, however I am going to go one step further and make this post.

Alright enough for the build up, here it is.  I am really dismayed at hearing or reading, "but."  In my experience over the past 22 or so years paying attention to the use and context of this word, I am beginning to actually dislike hearing or reading it.  Yes, yes, you say, "what about your attitude is you decision?"  That is true it is and I have been able to get past the word "but" when it crops up.

Now is my time to just say, "stop people stop already."  I will never get tired, upset or angry about it, that's not the point.

Having said that it would be nice to just not have to read or hear it for a few days.  I feel like TTL is a sanctuary, a peaceful place to get away from all that batters us on a daily basis.  I am placing out some fencing to show where the boundary's of my peaceful little TTL garden are.  Just stop with the "but's" already.

If you didn't like this post I warned you at the beginning.  Some of us have to say in our head, "My attitude is my decision" every time we read or hear the word but.
