Exercise

If I deep clean my house, do the laundry, make three beds, cook dinner from scratch is that consider arobics or strength? Do I still have to do the 30 min cardio?

says: Have you measured your heart rate before/during/after? If you can get your HR into your "aerobic" zone, I imagine it qualifies as cardio. Good luck!

says:

LOL ... Barbie, I LOVE your question!  Unfortunately, it doesn't count as cardio (I have tried this one on my family doctor ... no dice!)

BUT ... do you have stairs in your house?  You could run up and down them ... or jog, or whatever, for about 15 / 20 minutes, get your heartrate going ... you could leave stuff at the bottom of the stairs ... bring it up one at a time, run back down, grab the next item, etc ... make it a game with your son ... time yourself, etc.

Good luck!

says: House work is a big part of fitness so,I think you should still do something that makes you heart rate go up more. If you do house work every day you body is used to that. I try to do 15min of cardio a day along with other physical work.
