The results of bad choices

I did a  32 mile bike race 6 weeks ago and felt extremely happy with the results, beating my time last year by over 40 minutes.

Did a "fun" ride yesterday that was about 23 miles with a few stops that had physical challenges.  It was fun, but I was slow and not near in the condition that I was just 6 weeks ago.

The reason....I was feeling so good about the results of the first race that I slacked off, didn't exercise as much and didn't eat like I should.

The result?  One hell of a blood sugar crash (never had this before) after the race that has similar to being really drunk.  I had troubles driving until I could get a soda into my system (which I had kicked).

Going to make a check with the Md to check things out, then get back to eating better and getting more cardio in to reverse the trend.  Planning a 62 mile race in about 6 weeks and want to kick ass rather than get kicked in the ass!
