School, work, death. This just can't be all there is. Hence, I've begun my journey. THE journey. And as Don Juan once so eloquently put it. . . "For me there is only the traveling on the paths that have a heart, on any path that may have a heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge for me is to traverse its full length. And there I travel--looking, looking, breathlessly."

I joined TOOLS because:
I had a great job, bright future, beautiful wife, but... somehow I was miserable. So a few years ago, I asked the universe for a time out and requested a cosmic do-over for my life. I let go of everything (very amicably, especially her). And ever since then things have constantly been presented in my path. Tools Of Life is just one of them. I landed on it while searching the internet for some wave surfing information in the Caribbean. How I ended up on Tools... beats me. But hey, now that I'm here, I guess I'm meant to do it.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
Self employed that allows me to live in a different country every six months. The "job" would entail me to write; maybe internet based. I don't need $millions, but I would need to have financial freedom. I'm constantly trying to aim at living a meaningful yet simple life. Maybe just having one key in my pocket, one credit card, one great leather jacket, and one sharp looking Hugo Boss jeans. I find great beauty in simplicity sometimes.
My favorite wild animal is:
 dolphin, what else.
Why (describe as much as possible):
The animal is smarter than a man (bigger ratio of brain size to body), is always smiling, loves to hang out on the waves, and has this look like it's saying "problem or no problem, it's always no problem. Ya mon" What a beautiful creature.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 you and me at work.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
I don't think you want to know. Beef tongue in hot sauce with some great basmati rice on the side. Hmmmmm.
Why:
Actually, I'm not big on favorite meals or elaborate preparations. I mean, in less than few hours, you'll be flushing the thing away anyway. My apologies to all you food connoisseurs, but I am who I am.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
For dinner- Jesus, Mohammed, Ghandi, Leonardo Da Vinci and Groucho Marx. The religious boys would go at it, but Groucho would keep it light all the way through. I'd love it if Albert Einstein would join us for desert; he'd put everyone out of whack with his ideas.
Why:
What heck of an argument and laughter that night would be.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
Home to the Washington DC area. I already been traveling for the past 12 years.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
I was attending NYU Film School once, there was a pizza place down by Washington Square. I forget the name. But it was pretty good.
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
Vodka makes me quiet and a deep thinker. Rum makes me sarcastic and angry at our human condition and God's cosmic joke on us. Whiskey, makes me want to listen to southern rock (Lynard Skynard anyone). No, the only drink that I can truly enjoy because it makes me love life and happy is..what else... tequila.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
Me an caffeine just don't mix. I'll pass on this one.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
tell me if I'm on the right path, help me find that perfect wave to surf, tell me if I have any outstanding karmic debts to pay so I can pay them out as soon as possible.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
 alternative rock, blues, reggae
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
meet, talk and laugh with a beautiful woman neighbor, if there is one out there.
A sunset I remember:
It was July, 2001. I had been living in Costa Rica for two years. My friend and I were surfing in the ocean late one afternoon near a small town called Jaco. We were sitting on our boards and looking out at the ocean. The sun was coming down and he instructed me to look behind me at the beach and mountains. When I turned, all the mountains and the lush green rainforest were no longer green, but lit bright red from the reflection of the sunset. It was a moment of unspeakable beauty.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
 Captain Kirk in Star Trek.
Why:
The guy would always end up in some real deep shit somewhere out in the universe, but he always managed to save Spock, Bones and the rest of the crew. Plus, he always had those hot blonde nurses on the ship checking him out, yet he kept his cool.
