Overcast Days

Thursday and Friday here were very overcast and cold, after a few almost spring-like days.

I started the days feeling down, and am only now completely putting off the gloom.

Tools is not a magic cure for the natural variety of life. I have had cycles of depression and optimism since I was a kid. they are likely to be there as long as I breathe.

What Tools Has done for me is shorten the down cycle and make  it shallow. Time was when a down time almost always became a deep depression in which I avoided my loved ones and wallowed in gloomy thoughts. (Now I think of it, most or all of those thoughts were pure imagination, self imposed torture.) No more.

It is hard to stay down when you start each morning with the solid intention to 'have a Great day!'

Friends, this is a habit that is So worth making!
