Ok, so with day one done I have noticed that I am not as sad today, which is AWESOME! :D I told my close friends and family about this site so they may ask me how I'm doing with it and basically know I am working hard. With day twos info I have found that I honestly already know this info but, I stopped using it on a regular basis. That is where I went wrong lately. I've been dwelling on the negative rather then focusing on the positive.
I found this to be useful in the past and I will start doing it again. If you would like to join me feel free. I want otherd to feel better too.
What I used to do is take a couple of peices of paper, sit in silence and think long and hard of everything negative I would say to myself; true or false. I would write everything out in a T chart negative on one side. when I was done I would write the same amount of positives.
For example ( neg- my teeth look horrible; pos- I have a great smile)
I would continue this everyday until i have twice as much positive then negative. Then eventually I had to think long and hard on what the negatives where because all I wuld think of would be positive. I started training my brain as the instructor said..when I would have a negative thought I would cut the sentence short in my mind and finish it with a positive.
for example( your such an idiot...wait Stephanie your not an idiot just because you didn't spell that correctly doesn't mean you are not great in other aspects of life..) a bit long but it helped.
I am going to start doing these things again and I encourage you to do the same. If you don't feel like it is best for you don't fret, your fine, find something that you feel would help. These have helped me dramastically I believe that is why I am who I am today.
Thanks for reading my ramble :) <3
