Hello I am Brad and I am 27. I recently left the coast guard after six years of service. I am now in the process of creating a new life for myself and need all the help I can get. I am primarily taking this course to mature, learn moderation, and become more focused on my goals and the relationships that I care the most about in my life.

I graduated from college in 2004 then spent the next six years in the coast guard. First my parents took care of me and then the military did. I partied a lot during that time and didn't worry much about anything else. Now more than ever I need to become a more focused and more mature person. Some recent negative events in my life led me to realize how much my lifestyle has been negatively affecting my relationships and hindering me from accomplishing my goals.

My dream career is as a firefighter. I know that I can get in if I just put enough energy into it. I know that tools will help me to accomplish this by modifying my current attitude and behaviors.
