rest in pieces.

there comes a time every now in again when we as a whole person stubble upon the question of "is my life valuable?" or "whats to make of the ppl i will leave behind after my death?" i think its a healthy way to evaluate ur situations in life. ppl tend to focus solely on the bad fights or great times u have with a person after their passings. will i have great memorise left behind or will they be the bad fights?

ive recently watched the movie seven pounds starring will smith. this is the most powerful movie i have ever watched. to effect 7 ppls lives in such a great way, but no matter what we do to try to redeem the past we cannot go back and save the seven lives we have harmed or destroyed. not even by saving seven different ppl. but we always seem to try and i think its an important lesson in life is not to go back into the past searching for the what ifs in life. we have to move forward willing or not .the world is revolving whether we're standing or not.  making mistakes is human nature... we all do it we all have bad days that no matter how much we apologize or feel guilty about it, we can never fully take it back. ive come to realize that past mistakes are not and should never be regrets its a part of growing up [no matter what age we are] as long as u have learned something from that mistake. take something from the situation and grow from it.

everyday we are faced with new challenges. who is to say that a life such as urs or mine is not valuable.  i once read a book called the five ppl u meet in heaven, its about five ppl u have affected in ur life and how they have affected urs maybe without even realizing it. maybe its smiling and asking a complete stranger how his day was and listening or the elder lady next door if u can help her with her groceries. we really have no idea what a person is going through at that exact moment and by us giving the time and that little bit of effort that can totally change a person. our actions are our choices. we were put on this twisted earth for one reason or another, maybe to change seven ppls lives.. maybe just one..maybe to become the doctor who cures aids or cancer. but we all have a purpose in life and they all are significant in  the balance .

thanks

for the inspiring post. I've lived my whole life focusing on regrets and guilt. Your post really touched my heart and made me look at things in a different way :)

Just beautiful

Thanks for posting

Interesting you should choose to write about death, memories and life's valuable moments.  Last night I  watched the video under the Inspirations menu of the professor who died of pancreatic cancer but managed to share his thoughts and "no regrets" with the larger world.  I encourage the TTL community to view it and reflect.
