Relapse

I'm feeling really dizzy, can't remember what I am thinking in the middle of a sentence.  My stomach hurts, and everything following that as far as the digestive tract... I feel so tired I just don't want to leave the bed.  I can't read for double vision.  I was thinking about calling my neurologist to get on another dose of intraveinous cortisone to stop the flare.  Spoke to my oldest daughter  and she said, "you've just got the flu.  I had that a couple of weeks ago".  I hope she is right.  That would be great.

I had to leave my tai chi class half way through it because of an accident.  I  don't mean to complain.  I mean I'm not feeling sorry for myself, nor am I asking for sympathy.  I just wanted to write through my questions about what is going on.  I am not entirely sure Melissa (my daughter) is right, because the spasticity of my leg and shoulder muscles have also been really painful too.

Thanks for listening.  I am definately going to call my neurologist!

Meanwhile, I did enjoy the beautiful day.  It is dusk now, and for some reason all the cardinals in the neighborhood have to take up a nightly chorus.  That's my Sean, wishing me sweet dreams.

Hey

Call the neuro - if it's jsut the flu they will figure it out...

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rotten!  Sounds like it's time for some medical help.  The double vision sounds excruciating. I seem to be having a spot of that at present.  Very weird. Don't know what would have brought it on with me...;-)

Sending you many hugs and wishes for a quick recovery...

Forget the flu...

Take your own advice.  Call the neurologist.  If it's just the flu after all, I'm sure you'll be told.  If not, you'll get the support and help you need.

Oh, I wish I were a real magician instead of just a small wizard behind a fragile screen, running Oz on wishes, technology, and dreams.

I am so glad that you had been able to enjoy the beauty of this day and to hear the voice of your beautiful son in the lovely dusk chorus of the cardinals.

Carla, do take care of yourself.  You are just too important...

Sending you a hug Sending you a hug as well.

Listen to you

I agree! I agree!

I think it's powerful to be able to feel and acknowledge junk days and situations...just get it out there...and yet you keep a balance too and are thinking about actions to take. Sorry you feel so badly...that  is un-fun.
