Sick and all- my day was awesome. I got up pretty early, finished one illustration, started and completed another. I got in some exercise today- just a little but it was effective... got to work on time.   My boss let me leave a little early because I'm still feeling not so good and I sound awful. I took her up on her offer and figured I could use the rest. I came home and my mother had surprised me with some canvas and a new palette knife. She told me I should do an oil painting because that is my strongest ability. At first for a second I was offended- like the pieces I wanted to put in weren't good enough,   but I snapped out of it real quick and thanked her, marched to the studio and completed a piece that is going to look pretty cool hanging in the gallery this weekend.  Also- my best friend just got her massage license and wants to start a business. One year ago I tried to start the same type of business and it fell through... my partner became mostly silent and invisible. Wasn't the right time for her I guess, but here I am one year later and this huge opportunity comes knocking on my door along with tons of excitement and enthusiasm-   another dream in the making.  Things are going great. I'm feeling my power.
