I am visible

I loved it!  Being visible is so real.  Sometimes it seems as though the world thinks we are invisible until we make human contact.  I am often criticized by family, friends, etc. that I am too outgoing.  I speak to people in lines, like saying, how is your day going? I wave people to go in front of me when they are stuck to get out into the traffic flow, I sing in the car, I laugh at the children at the park, I guess I like enjoying life.  I don't feel the least bit bad, I am real happy to be "out there".  As a hospice nurse I can tell you this.......we all die the same way, last breath, last heartbeat, are we alone or with others, is it how we thought it would be?  I have been with the very poor and the very rich and you know what.......it doesn't matter...we all just want to feel comfortable, not frightened and maybe even have a hand to hold.

Peace Out, Cathie
