This comment is addressing your Novel.
A really great way to begin is with a "Mind Map".
Mind Maps are used in big corporations like IBM, Microsoft, Boeing and they are really great for creating new projects, products or in your case the novel or screenplay.
I will do my best to explain what they are and you can have a go at it.
Take a large blank piece of paper and some colored pens. Allow your mind to just flow onto the paper. Start with the one subject...the novel.
Write the word novel in the center. Let yourself "brainstorm" by drawing lines out from novel with ALL of your ideas.
I just did one last week on an Abundance course I am creating for the internet.
In the center I have "Abundance Course" (I don't have a specific name yet and that's okay)...the main sections off of that are "Free Ecourse", "Money Game", "Buddy System", etc.
Off of "Free Ecourse" there are the possibilities of "Free Audio", "Free Visualization Audio", "Free Transcript of the Audio", etc.
Are you getting the idea?
